Nairobi, Kenya - November 2019 - On 1 November, the international formation community for theologians "Don Bosco Utume", based in Nairobi, celebrated the Annual Theological Forum on the theme "Safeguarding young people: the Church's response to prophetic witness in Africa." The event began with the Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr Emmanuel Chimombo, Pastoral Coordinator of the Association of Members of Episcopal Conferences of East Africa. The key to the reading was given by Sr. Marren Rose Awiti, IBVM, professor of the Catholic University of East Africa.
