Brooklyn, United States - May 2019 - From April 29 to May 1, at the "Sales Center" in Brooklyn, Michigan, the annual meeting of the "North American Salesian Network" took place. The "NASN" is composed of groups that share the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales, fosters the sharing of Salesian resources and promotes initiatives aimed at reviving North American culture with the spirit of St. Francis de Sales and the founders. This year's meeting brought forward initiatives already underway, in particular the request to the Holy Father for an encyclical on Saint Francis of Sales in view of 2022, that is the 400th anniversary of the saint's death.
