Caracas, Venezuela - March 2019 - On 25 March, the solemn funeral of Salesian Fr José Romualdo Godoy was celebrated, presided over by Cardinal Baltazar Porras, concelebrated by Salesian bishops and other pastors of the Episcopal Conference of Venezuela, along with about 60 priests. Present at the funeral was a large representation of the Salesian Family, faithful and lay friends of the Archdiocese of Caracas. At the end of the funeral, Fr Godoy's remains were taken to his hometown Timotes, where they will be buried in the Temple of San Benito.
