Medellín, Colombia - December 2018 - On December 13, in the provincial house of Medellín (COM), the missionary groups that this year will accompany the communities of Chocó gathered to get to know each other, share and celebrate the Eucharist of the sending off and departure. After the celebration presided by Fr Jorge Iván Pérez, Provincial Vicar of the COM, the group of 22 people, made up of students and past pupils accompanied by teachers of Salesian works, and the Provincial Delegate for the Missions, Fr Jaime Gómez, embarked on the journey to Condoto. Throughout the year the young people who form missionary groups are preparing to live this experience, learning to know the Gospel, the accompaniment and what it really means to be a missionary.
