Turin, Italy - November 24, 2018 - Opening last Saturday in Turin-Valdocco was the ninth Provincial Chapter of the Special Circumscription of Piedmont-Valle d'Aosta, which has two sessions: 26 to 29 December 2018 and 4 to 5 March 2019. Among the tasks of the Provincial Chapter are: the deepening of the theme of the General Chapter 28 (CG28) - "What Salesians for young people today?" - and in particular the priorities of the youth mission, the profile of the Salesian today, the shared mission between Salesians and lay people and legal issues; the study of specific themes of the Province, in detail, the redesign of presences; the election of the Delegates to the GC28 and their substitutes. The Governor appointed for the Provincial Chapter is Fr Luca Barone.
