Bogotá, Colombia - October 2018 - From September 30 to October 6, at the Salesian "Niño Jesús" center and the Salesian College "León XIII", the Salesian Art Festival took place, now in its XXXIV edition. This year, 1,984 artists participated of 34 delegations from the Colombian provinces of the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. The dynamics of the festival took place on the theme "Young art, in terms of listening and accompaniment." The artists offered 436 exhibitions, 94 hours of live performances, in the presence of 26 professional jurors in each of the disciplines: performing arts, dance, literature, plastic art, visual art and music. During the week of the festival, the young people had the opportunity to participate in ten artistic training workshops and 30 workshops for the formation regarding the Gospel, with various activities typical of the Salesian oratory.
