Calcutta, India - 9 August 2018 - On August 9, Fr Nirmol Gomes, Provincial of the Salesians of Calcutta, officially presented the three-volume work "Robibarer Shastropater Bhumika Shongkolpan", a translation in Bengali of the book of the late Fr John Larrea "Introduction to the Sunday Readings." The presentation took place during the annual meeting of the Salesian parish priests of the Province. Present at the ceremony were Fr David Mondol, who initiated and coordinated the project, and Ranjit Biswas, former teacher at the "Don Bosco Park Circus", now retired, who translated the texts for free.
