Benediktbeuern, Germany - July 2018 - On July 1, three Salesians of Don Bosco, Simon Härting of the Province of Germany, Johannes M. Haas and Peter Rinderer of the Province of Austria, were ordained priests in the basilica of the monastery of Benediktbeuern. Msgr. Stefan Oster, SDB, bishop of Passau, presided over the ordinations, encouraging the three new priests to be "instruments of the presence of God" and, in their service to young people, to make visible a profound and personal closeness to God.
