Uvira, Democratic Republic of the Congo - On Sunday 25 February, the Salesian Mission Week was launched from Uvira, in the Province of South Kivu, throughout the Salesian Province of Central Africa (AFC). It will end on 4 March 2018 in Bukavu. During the Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Albert Kabuge in the parish "Blessed Marie-Clémentine Anuarite Nengapeta", participants pledged to follow the commitment of "Whispering the Gospel", and young people and children also expressed their intention to share the mission 24 hours a day. This year's Mission Week is also associated with the commitment to support the excavation of a new well at the village of Kebumba.
