Kara, Togo - November 2017 - Thanks to the second phase of the project to restructure the educational spaces and strengthen the formation cycles of the "Don Bosco Professional Center" of Kara, Togo, over 500 students are now attending vocational training courses for electricians, electrotechnicians, bricklayers and carpenters. Funded by the deputation of Seville, municipalities of Antequera and Pozoblanco, the project restructured some of the classrooms, the roof, improved facilities, and refurbished lab and workshop equipment. The project ends in the forthcoming months, but continues, meanwhile, to develop awareness-raising sessions regarding the role of women in vocational training, in the local population and with the center's staff, to facilitate the integration of more female students in next year's courses.
