Dili, East Timor – 10 February 2017 – Father Guillermo Basañes, the General Councilor for the Missions, was on his animation visit to the Salesians in East Timor, 4-11 February. Fr. Basañes, accompanied by the Provincial, Fr. Apolinario Neto, managed to visit all the Salesian communities in the country and hold a special meeting with the salesians in each community, the pre-novices in Lospalos, the Novices in Fatumaca, the Post-Novices in Dili, the Rectors of the community and the Council Members of the Provincial. During a meeting with a group of missionaries, he highlighted the secret of being a missionary: to love Jesus and secondly to bring Jesus to others.
