Vatican City, Vatican – January 23rd, 2017 - Legion of Honour, with the title (and class) of Chevalier (Knight) for Msgr.  Enrico dal Covolo SDB, Rector of the Pontifical Lateran University (PUL). The prestigious French distinction was awarded to the Rector on January 23rd at the French Embassy to the Holy See by the Ambassador Philippe Zeller. Msgr. dal Covolo was bestowed the Legion of Honour in the presence of PUL Professors and Staff. A high accolade “which however does not belong to me. I am only a figurehead: this award is for all the teaching and non teaching staff and above all for the students of the Pontifical Lateran University”, commented Msgr. dal Covolo.
