Kurla, India – January 2025 – In line with the Jubilee Year of Hope, the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) groups in Mumbai organised an evening of prayer and reflection held at the Don Bosco Centre of Learning" in Kurla under the theme: "A Symphony of Hope". The event was animated by the dynamic "Echoes of Zion" and by Fr McEnroe Lopes, who entertained those present with lively music, helping young people to lift their hearts to God. Fr Ashley Miranda, Vice-Provincial of the Salesian Province of Mumbai, India, shed light on the theme of the Jubilee Year, focused on Hope, and on how each of us must be able to live a life of hope and help others to hope. The highlight of the evening was finally when the young people staged musical shows, telling different stories and giving everyone lessons in hope. The young artists were guided carefully and attentively by Fr Charles Anthony. At the end of the evening, each of the young people felt more connected to the Salesian Youth Movement and felt a great sense of responsibility in being witnesses of hope in the world.
