Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar – October 2024 – From 1 September to 4 October the Church celebrates the "Season of Creation. This year the Salesian Family in Myanmar has also joined these celebrations with the theme: "Hope and act with Creation". Some schools run by the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, in collaboration with the Don Bosco Green Alliance in Myanmar, have organised some awareness-raising programmes for students. The most significant event is the online speech on ecological conservation, given by Fr Saw John Shine Win, SDB, to young Catholics in Myanmar. In the concluding ceremony, held on 4 October  the young people thanked God for the wonders of nature. At the end, Fr Leo Mang, Vice-Superior of the MYM Vice-Province, delivered a short message on ecology, underlining three important words: "love, enhance and preserve".
