Seoul, South Korea – October 2024 - Fr Marcello Baek Kwanghyun was installed as the sixth Provincial of the Salesians of South Korea (KOR) on Saturday 5 October, in the chapel on the 7th floor of the Salesian Provincial House in Seoul,, in the presence of more than 300 people, including Salesians and members of the Salesian Family. The celebration was presided over by Fr Joseph Phuoc, Councillor for the East Asia-Oceania Region, who also thanked Fr Timothy Choi Woncheol, former Provincial of KOR, for his hard work during the six-year period.
