At the same time, following the consultations Salesians in the aforementioned territories, the Rector Major has also appointed the first Provincial Delegate for the AKM Delegation, in the person of Fr Gino Martucci; his appointment will be for three years (2024-2027).
Through the new Delegation, the Salesian Congregation aims to promote the harmonious development of Salesian settings in the Balkans and to coordinate and encourage their pastoral commitment, so that a Vice-Province can be established at the appropriate time.
"We express our thanks and our closeness to Fr Luigi Martucci, who with a spirit of obedience welcomed this delicate service on behalf of the confreres and all places in the Delegation. Fr Gino will also join as an additional member of the Provincial Council the Superior of the EMI, Fr Gianpaolo Roma said.
