In addition to the Communications Committee, the online event was attended by representatives of the National Committees for Schools, Social Action and Salesian Youth Ministry, as well as representatives of over 190 Salesian presences in Brazil, including works and schools. The broadcast was moderated by Sr Maike Loes, with the special participation of the National Coordinators of Social Work and Schools, Carolina Neves Oliveira and Sr Lucia Jacinta Finassi, respectively.
At the beginning of the work, Sister Maria Carmelita de Lima Conceição and Fr Francisco Inácio Vieira Júnior spoke words of encouragement for networking, starting with the National Campaigns. "In the same context of Don Bosco's dream and hope, there is also this event, which brings us together, unites us, makes us more and more a family and puts us online. This great dream and this great realization also depend on each of us, ”said Fr Vieira.
“Let us unite in this Campaign so that the future may truly be a sign of hope, love and great fraternity in the certainty that Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello are with us”, Sister de Lima Conceição said.
The objective of these national campaigns is both to strengthen the network action that the RSB has in its DNA, and to express a communion of discernment – thus benefiting the entire Salesian mission in the country.
On the occasion, Cícero de Albuquerque also offered some reflections on the positive impact of a campaign taken up by the entire educational/provincial community and on the strength of networking for Salesian presences. Subsequently, RSB graphic designer Pedro Freitas spoke to the participants about the details chosen by the Communications Committee to compose the various elements of the Campaign, such as the choice of colours, new images, font style, the possibilities of adapting the elements and what can and cannot be changed in the campaign.
The RSB communication analysts, Janaína Lima and Thiago Santos, then presented the reference sites of the campaigns and provided some indications on the unified launch of the campaigns, which took place at 10:30 on the same day on all the social media of the Salesian presences, with the dissemination of promotional videos of the Schools and Social Action.
At the end of the event, some representatives of Salesian presences welcomed the teams for the registration of the National Campaigns.
The redesign of the RSB National Marketing Campaigns for Salesian schools and social works is the result of intense networking that arose from the first actions in 2023 between the National Commissions for Communications, Schools and Social Action, with the help of the Salesian Commission for Youth Ministry, in collaboration with the communication team from the National Office.
Traditionally, RSB National Marketing Campaigns are made available in an open format so that all presences can adapt every detail, maintaining the fundamental unity and highlighting the diversity of Salesian Brazil.
