Copacabana, Colombia – April 2024 – The 22nd Provincial Chapter of the Province of Medellín Colombia (COM) began on 6 April  in Villa de Sales, in the light of the guidelines of the Salesian Congregation preparing for GC29. involving 48 Salesians, the opening session was held, chaired by Fr Luis Fernando Valencia,  COM Provincial, and Fr Óscar José Holguín, Moderator, who also provided for the simulation for the respective assemblies that will take place during moments working on the core formation areas. The secretary and moderators of the Chapter were then elected. The retreat began on Sunday 7 April aiming to strengthen the Chapter dynamic through an understanding of Holy Scripture, starting with the care of the Salesian, young people and creation.
