Santiago, Chile – March 2024 - The Federation of Salesian Past Pupils of Chile presented with joy and hope the new Past Pupil Centre at the Don Bosco Oratory School in Santiago, which on Friday, 22 March, held its first meeting with the aim of electing a provisional council. The council consists of Rafael Godoy, Chairman; Santiago Cole, Vice-Chairman; Esteban Cole, Secretary; Tomas Quiroz, Treasurer and Álvaro Santander, Spokesman. The establishment of this centre is in line with one of the federation's objectives, which is to motivate and work with young people. "By accompanying this group, we intend to resume a project that was created a few years ago, the Young Salesian Past Pupils (JEXS) project"  the president of the Federation of Salesian Past Pupils, Jair Bacin, shared. Rafael Godoy, who graduated in 2019, expressed that the goal is to regain the community that exists among students, maintain Salesian spirituality and also form a past pupils centre that can represent everyone. The young past pupils hope that in the future there will be a family of past pupils who actively participate in the school and the community, helping people and generating various activities.
