Anisakan, Myanmar – February 2024 – The Salesian Family Commission organised the presentation of the Rector Major's Strenna 2024 on 24 February 2024, at the headquarters of the Salesian Vice-Province (MYM), in Anisakan, Pyin Oo Lwin. The event began with the Mass in the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, presided over by the Superior of the MYM Vice-Province, Fr Bosco Nyi Nyi, and the homily was given by Fr John Gam Seng, Delegate for the Salesian Family. Later in the Mamma Margaret room, Fr Bosco Nyi Nyi shared his ideas and reflections on the 2024 Strenna of the Rector Major, Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime: "The dream that makes you dream". A heart that transforms "wolves" into "lambs". At the end, he launched two ideas for discussion and sharing in small groups: "What are your dreams? And how can we help young people achieve theirs?" Subsequently, the video of Strenna 2024 was screened with the dubbing in Burmese prepared by the Commission for Social Communications; and the program of the day ended with the presentation of the reflections of the small groups through their respective representatives. The event vividly revealed that the members of the Salesian Family in Myanmar have bright dreams of hope and prosperity, for their country and for the whole of humanity.
