World Youth Day and its impact on the country, young people and the Church will continue to be analysed in future editions of the Salesian Bulletin. In this first issue of the year, Fr Juan Freitas, the new National Delegate for Youth Ministry, says that: "There are many seeds that are growing. Many people have been involved and touched and, as a result, a movement of young volunteers has been created in social action, in catechesis and in groups of children and young people."
The new contributors, in particular, include the sections: "Advance in the Dream", by Nuno Quaresma; "In focus", by Professor João Sêco, in this month dedicated to the anniversary of the church of Mary Help of Christians; "Education/Pedagogy", with the collaboration of Sister Conceição Santos, Daughter of Mary Help of Christians; "Theology and Sacraments" by Don Luís Almeida.
Also in this issue, in the "Specials" section, there is an in-depth study of the World Day of Peace, available at the following link.
Fr Tarcizio Morais, Superior of the Salesian Province of Portugal, addresses the theme of synodality in his editorial.
This "truly special" year also begins with the commemoration of the bicentenary of Don Bosco's Dream as a Nine-Year-Old, on which the Rector Major, Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, writes an article.
Finally, more room is given to news about Youth Ministry, the Salesian Family and the Salesian world in general.
