Fr Simon was born in Kamishly on 2 July 1978. He made his First Profession in Damascus on 8 September 2002, and later his Perpetual Profession in Damascus on 7 September 2008. He was ordained a priest in Kamishly on 11 September 2010.
After his initial formation, he has served the province in different capacities taking forward various responsibilities.
From 2010 to 2014 in Aleppo, Syria, he served as the Youth Pastoral Delegate;
From 2015 to 2017 in Damascus, Syria, he served as the Director;
From 2017 to 2018 in Alexandria, Egypt, he served as the Director;
From 2018 to present Al - Fidar and El Houssoum, Lebanon serves as the Director.
At this very difficult time for the Middle East, and for the various missions in the countries of the province: Israel, Palestine, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, we wish the newly appointed Provincial Fr Simon and all the confreres and collaborators God’s grace and every good to continue building the Dream of Don Bosco.
