Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - December 2023 - The Plaza Educativa Don Bosco in Santo Domingo, home to four different educational institutions, hosted a retreat based on the Rector Major's Strenna "The dream that makes you dream" in recent days. More than 700 young people and 300 educators had the opportunity to reflect not only on Don Bosco's Dream at Nine Years of Age, but also on their own dreams and aspirations. The Salesian community, led by Fr Carlos Piantini, SDB, was present throughout the event, providing guidance and support. The participation of the religious community enriched the retreat experience, bringing an authentic spiritual depth. This retreat was a testimony to the spirit of Don Bosco and his Dream: a world where every young person has the opportunity to dream and realise their desires.
