Lesotho - November 2023 - As part of its animation, the Salesian Youth Ministry team in Southern Africa Vice-Province (AFM), visited Lesotho from 10 to 12 November. The visit was aimed at interacting with the local Salesian Youth Movement teams, the Parish Pastoral Council, student leaders and teachers at the two Salesian presences in Maputsoe and Maseru. The meeting was conducted in beautiful synodal style, where listening and dialogue were the key components. These interactions gave the team a better understanding of the realities faced by young people and how youth ministry can respond to them. The Salesian Youth Ministry team in AFM has already conducted similar meetings in Cape Town and Swaziland.
