El Salvador - 12th edition of the Don Bosco University Communicators' Meeting
El Salvador - November 2023 - The Don Bosco University (UDB), through its School of Communication (ECOM), organised a Communicators' Meeting from 13 to 17 November. Now in its 12th edition it was called E23, under the motto "We are the Key". This event aims to highlight the work of the UDB communicators, recognised nationwide for their professional profile, integrating the production of messages in all their formats, the development of innovative strategies to meet communication needs; as well as the implementation of digital communication projects, among others. This meeting has been held since 2011 and one of its objectives since then is to reward the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Multimedia Technician, for the averages achieved during the year. Another aim is to exchange experiences and knowledge between students and professionals in the area. According to Juan Ramón Maldonado, Director of ECOM, "With each Communicators' Meeting we try to highlight the profile and training characteristics of the UDB Communicator, who is a global communicator with an up-to-date development of technical skills in the area of multimedia communication, digital communication and strategic communication, but at the same time a professional who develops transversal skills that allow him/her to make changes in the environment in which he/she operates". During the E23 week, the young communicators present the skills and knowledge acquired during the five years with various multimedia events that take place on both Don Bosco University campuses, Soyapango and Antiguo Cuscatlán, for advertising agencies, companies and national and international institutions that are looking for UDB talent.
