The speaker began the seminar by presenting an overview of Salesian Ministry for the young.   He then gave guidelines for doing this ministry in various forms, such as Pastoral Work in Schools, Youth Ministry and The Family,  Pastoral Work in churches entrusted to the Salesians, and Educating the Young to Love.

The participants reflected on the works they have been doing and shared their experiences with each other.  The seminar gave the Salesians and the members of the Salesian family a clearer direction in their pastoral work.  This also helped increase their morale so that they can be a symbols and a bearers of love for the poor and abandoned youth in society.

Finally, the speaker gave a message to all members of the Salesian Family: “All of us are the faces, the voices and the book of the new covenant opened for the young.  They can read the Gospel through the words, the witnessing and the works we do for them.  Let us be bearers of God's love for the youth of Thailand, Cambodia and DRP of Laos.”
