Parañaque, The Philippines - October 2023 - The ministry of Acolyte was conferred on nine theology students and that of Lectorate on twelve others during a Eucharistic celebration presided over on 18 October by Fr Gerardo Martin, the Provincial of the Province of the Philippines North (FIN), in the Chapel of the "Don Bosco" Seminary in Parañaque,. In his homily, Fr Martin stressed the importance of these ministries, as a form of service to God, the Church and the community. The celebration was also attended by Salesian coadjutors from the 'Sandor Community' in Parañaque, who shared a moment of fraternal agape with the students.
