Puebla, Mexico - September 2023 - The Salesian Cooperators (ASC) of the Puebla area met on 23 September with the Delegate for the Salesian Family from the Province of Mexico-City Mexico (MEM), Fr Juan Aarón Cerezo Huerta. Among the objectives of the meeting: to get to know the new ASC Provincial Council of South Mexico; to establish a dialogue with those in charge of each ASC centre; to get to know the concerns and needs of each centre. Fr Cerezo Huerta, for his part, said that the new ASC Council has taken the initiative to visit each area: meetings have already been held in Coacalco and Mexico City and, after Puebla, it will be the turn of Morelia, Chiapas and Mérida. "This initiative seems more timely than ever, especially in the run-up to the Association's 150th anniversary" said Fr Cerezo Huerta. During the meeting, in a fraternal atmosphere, communication and dialogue were cultivated and the members of the ASC Provincial Council introduced themselves and spoke about the situation of the Province, highlighting some initiatives and projects.
