Aracaju, Brazil - September 2023 - Sport is a tool for transforming lives and promoting the integral development of young people. This is why the Salesian school in Aracaju offers eleven sports and organises internal and friendship games, including the now traditional cycling event called "Pedalling with Don Bosco", now in its 17th edition. The organisers of the event, which took place on Sunday 24 September, estimated that around 700 people participated in the cycling tour, including students, families, educators and former students, who brought joy and happiness to the city streets. According to Sports Coordinator José Carlos Cunha, "Pedalling with Don Bosco" is a traditional sporting event in Aracaju and marks the end of the Indoor Games. "It was wonderful to see the joy of the participants. I received several messages from parents talking about the importance of the event to encourage families to practise sport. We are happy, because we have achieved our goal of bringing families closer to the school" he stressed.
