Mexico City, Mexico - September 2023 - The first visit of the Salesian Cooperators (ASC) Provincial Council for South Mexico to the councils of local ASC centres in Mexico City took place from 2-3 September. During the meeting, the preparation for the great celebration of the Association's 150th anniversary was promoted and motivated, and awards were presented to ASCs with more than 15 years of membership. Meetings of the centres were held as part of the event; the activity was accompanied by the Provincial Delegates for the Salesian Family, Sr Adriana Dávila Ortega, FMA, and Fr Juan Aarón Cerezo Huerta, SDB, who were also accompanied by Fr Hugo Herrera, Director of the Salesian Youth Centre Community Work. The meeting was attended on the first day, at the Salesian school located in Tlalnepantla de Baz, by 50 ASCs, including aspirants and those who have made their promise; and by 22 ASCs, including aspirants, those with promises and members of the provincial council, during the second stage held at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Mexico City.
