Kinshasa, Democratci Republic of Congo - August 2023 - The Salesian Missionary Group organised its first Missionary Camp (CAMISSIO 2023) at Don Bosco College in Lukunga, Kinshasa district. The Missionary Camp was held in conjunction with World Youth Day in Lisbon, to give the young participants the opportunity to share experiences with those present in the Portuguese capital. As with WYD, the theme of the Missionary Camp was: "Mary arose and went in haste". During the four days of the camp, those present had a series of experiences rich in inspiration to strengthen their commitment to be witnesses of Christ in the world. At the end of the meeting, before the concluding Eucharist, the young missionaries spent an evening of friendship and fraternity in a typically Salesian atmosphere.
