Mozambique – Priestly ordination of Salesian Vasanth Raj

Maputo, Mozambique – August 2023 – Salesian Vasanth Raj was ordained a priest on 20 August, at São José de Lhanguene Parish in the diocese of Maputo by Bishop Tonito José Francisco Xavier Muananoua, Auxiliary Bishop of Maputo. The new priest comes from the India-Chennai Province (INM) and was sent as a missionary to Mozambique in 2016. He studied Theology in Utume, Kenya, and was ordained a priest on his birthday.
