Mexico City, Mexico – June 2023 – Salesian novices from the following Provinces made their first profession on 24 June at the parish shrine of Mary Help of Christians: two from Central America (CAM), three from Mexico-Guadalajara (MEG), one from Mexico-Mexico (MEM), and two from the Haitian Vice-Province (HAI). The solemn mass and rite of first profession was presided over by Fr Ignacio Ocampo, MEM Provincial, concelebrated by Fr Filiberto González Plasencia, MEG Provincial, Fr René Santos, CAM Vice-Provincial, Fr Fabien Barrochin, HAI Vice-Province Councillor. Present were Fr Javier Rivas, Novice Director, family members and friends of the novices, members of the Salesian Family, young people from the Salesian Youth Movement and numerous Salesians.
