Oviedo, Spain - June 2023 - Fundación JuanSoñado' Day was celebrated on 17 June. Every year, operators and volunteers from the Fundación JuanSoñador gather to meet each other and also get to know the newcomers within the teams. This year's event took place at the Colegio Fundación Masaveu in Oviedo, with the slogan of the Pastoral Campaign 'Let's Open up Paths'. "It allowed us to see those who work in other cities, meet pople who have recently joined us and spend a family day" the Foundation tells us. The meeting began with the traditional welcome coffee, a very special moment that is part of the daily routine of all JuanSoñador presences. Little by little, participants arrived from La Coruña, Lugo, Vigo, Ourense, Valladolid, Villamuriel and León. The team from Oviedo, with great affection, prepared a 'photocall' in which entertainment took centre stage. This was followed by the Eucharist, celebrated by Fr Samuel Segura, Vice-Provincial of the Province of St James the Greater (SSM), to give thanks for the journey made. The evening ended with an activity in the Parque de Invierno, where the JuanSoñador team from Ourense prepared a series of activities and quizes to get to know the environment. In addition, the Salesians of the Oviedo community were thanked for their commitment and dedication over all these years.
