Sliema, Malta – June 2023 – On 16 June, Salesian Jean Paul Mutombo Matala was ordained a priest in the church at the Salesian Oratory in Sliema  by the imposition of hands and the consecratory prayer of the Archbishop of Malta, Archbishop Charles Scicluna. The ceremony was concelebrated by the Apostolic Nuncio to Malta and Libya, Salesian Archbishop Savio Hon Tai-Fai, in the presence of the Superior of the Mary Help of Christians Vice-Province of Malta (MLT), Fr Paul Formosa, numerous Salesians and faithful.
