Quito, Ecuador – June 2023 - A Vocational silent Retreat began on Sunday, 11 June, at the El Horeb House of Prayer, involving 13 young people: 7 volunteers and 6 post-volunteers from various Salesian communities. They are on a journey of vocational discernment to offer a response to the call of the Lord Jesus. This retreat was accompanied by Frs Marcelo Tigrero, Mario Ramos and post-novice Vicente Jiménez. The objectives set for this retreat were to help them in vocational discernment and strengthen their motivations; to make room for silence and reflection so that they may confront the Lord with the decision they are about to make; and to integrate future candidates for the Common Aspirantate 2023.
