Argentina - March 2023 - As part of the Extraordinary Visit to the Salesian Province of Northern Argentina (ARN), Fr. Gianni Rolandi visited the Salesian communities of Salta and Tucumán, where he was welcomed with the affection, closeness and festive atmosphere typical of these provinces. He stayed three days in Tucumán, during which he met with young people from the schools, the soup kitchen and the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), as well as the communities of the various houses. "I'm very happy because I met very cheerful, very simple and very committed people," Fr. Rolandi told the young people at the work. He then headed to the city of Salta where he visited the boys and girls of the Salesian schools, the youth of the groups and movements, the students of the Vocational Training Center "San José" and all the educators of the various areas. He also presided over the Eucharist with the community of the "Vicaría del Milagro" work in the neighborhood of the same name. Fr. Rolandi got to know the faith of a people with very deep roots, the enormous devotion of those who find in God a filial love. Moreover, together with the Salesian community, he was also able to travel and admire the landscapes of northern Puna.
