Caracas, Venezuela - March 2023 - During February and March, the Economer's Office team, the Educational Services Coordination, and the Office of Planning and Development of the Salesian Province "St. Luke" of Venezuela (VEN) carried out a series of meetings to present the Provincial Manual of Administrative Policies and Norms. These meetings were attended by about 120 people, including Salesians and laypeople from the administration management teams of Salesian works in the country. The objective was to make the above-mentioned Manual known as a tool to support the administrative management of each Salesian work. The two-day session provided a deeper understanding of administrative practices and how they are highlighted by the Manual, which will be applied in each work. Likewise, it was possible to carry out research on local needs, together with the team from the Office of Planning and Development, for the consolidation of a panorama of needs that will support project management. Through this activity and the manual in question, the VEN Province continues to work to strengthen its management capacity and ensure the sustainability of the Salesian presence, always at the service of Venezuelan youth and their education.
