Caracas, Venezuela - March 2023 - Last weekend in the Salesian Province "St. Luke" of Venezuela (VEN) was full of pastoral activities. The itinerary "Salesian Missionary Disciples" (Dimisal in Spanish), continues to be important for hundreds of young people. Fr. Rafael Montenegro, Superior of the VEN Province, and Fr. Jorge Bastidas, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, visited some of these pastoral experiences, encouraging young people, Salesians and lay people to continue to believe in the life project of St. John Bosco, which is nothing less than to make young people grow in all dimensions of their lives. Fr. Montenegro invited young people to be authentic, credible missionaries of faith, hope and trust in God and Mary Help of Christians. Fr. Bastidas urged young people to be able to look at their lives with the eyes of Jesus; with mercy, compassion and fidelity; to be able to stand up, like Mary, to serve, listen and walk with other young people toward an encounter with Christ.
