Fuiloro, East Timor - January 2023 - The Salesian Youth Ministry of the East Timor Vice-Province (TLS) organized a joint meeting of SDB, FMA, Salesian Cooperators, animators of various youth centers, and members of the national structure of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM). The objectives of the event were: to learn about and expand knowledge regarding the SDB-FMA document on SYM to love and live according to Salesian Spirituality with young people on their way to holiness; to discuss when and where to implement the SYM Forum. In the first session, Fr. João Gaspar, SDB, presented the report from the "Salesian Youth Ministry Framework." In addition, the objectives of the SYM that brings together young people from various places, ethnicities, with a youth spirituality according to Don Bosco's charism, to evangelize and educate were emphasized. In the second session, Sister Júlia Fernandes presented a talk on the FMA manual entitled "That they may have life in abundance." Then the participants were divided into groups for discussion and sharing of topics with questions and answers.
