Mumbai, India – February 2023 - The Salesian World Advisory Council - Formation is holding its bi-annual meeting at Don Bosco Provincial House, Mumbai, from 13-17 February 2023. It is organized by Fr Ivo Coelho, the General Councillor for Formation and the Formation Department, Rome. The participants include the Regional Formation Coordinators, the Directors of the Regional Animation Centres and the Central Formation Team. They are 17 in all. The group is involved in discussing major issues of formation at the Congregational level. Each member reports the Council implementation of the lines of action pertaining to formation in the plan of the Region and of its own decisions in the previous meeting (2021). This meeting concentrates its attention on Promotion of the vocation of the Salesian Brother, developing a syllabus for Salesian studies in the various stages of formation and the revision of the Ratio.
