K'Long, Vietnam - December 2022 - A group of Salesians from the Vietnam Province (VIE), aged 40 to 49, participated in ordinary formation sessions held from December 19 to 22. They focused on the theme "Dare to dream and make others dream," inspired by Pope Francis' words to the Salesians on March 17, 2020. Participating Salesians were invited to: share their dreams from the reality of their personal and community lives; recall their first dreams from when they embarked on Salesian life, identifying the obstacles that stood in the way of their realization; and identify resources, hidden potentials, and wounds that need healing, in order to chart a new exodus. Those present were reminded that the key to everything is inner freedom, always under God's guidance, and that everyone needs a plan to take care of themselves. In the spiritual atmosphere of recollection in the Eucharist and reflection on God's Word, sharing fraternal moments of sports and personal talks, participants expressed the desires and realities of their individual and community lives, encouraging each other to be faithful and live their vocations more fully.
