Guayaquil, Ecuador - December 2022 - On Saturday 3 December the Salesian Harry Icaza was ordained a priest by the imposition of hands and the consecratory prayer of Msgr. Alfredo Espinoza Mateus, SDB, Archbishop of Quito. The ceremony took place at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Guayaquil, in the presence of Fr Francisco Sánchez, Superior of the Salesian Province of Ecuador (ECU), of Salesians from various communities, as well as relatives and friends of the new priest.
