Bangkok, Thailand - November 2022 - With the theme "You have to give your best to Jesus," echoing the words of St. Artemide Zatti, the youth-gathering event titled "SYM Day Camp" was held on Nov. 8 at the Salesian School "St. Dominic Savio" in Bangkok and was repeated on the 11th at the Ban Pong Technical Institute. The gathering, organized by the Youth Ministry of the "St. Paul" Province of Thailand, brought together more than 200 students from the seven Salesian schools and other institutions run by the Salesian Family. An opening ceremony was held at the beginning of the meet, presided over by Fr. Kriengsak Chaiphornkaew, Rector of "St. Dominic Savio" School, and Fr. Bancha Kitprasert, Rector of Ban Pong Technical Institute. Afterward, Fr. Yarat Chaiyara gave a talk on the chosen theme and the participants were divided into small groups with an invitation to reflect on the words of St. Artemide Zatti. The young people were then involved in a workshop and in the afternoon there was a stage performance to represent the ‘good things that we can do’ for others, like Saint Brother Artemide Zatti, who ‘gives his best to Jesus’.
