Hyderabad, India - November 2022 - The South Asia Regional Formation Commission (SAFC) organized a meeting entitled "Formation of Formators," addressed to all the Rectors of the Formation Houses of the South Asian Provinces: the Pre-Novitiate, Novitiate, Post-Novitiate, and Theologate. South Asia Formation Delegate Fr. Robert Pen coordinated the meeting at the Provincial House in Hyderabad from Nov. 6 to today, Nov. 10. Fr. Thomas Santiagu, Superior of the "St. Joseph" Province of India-Hyderabad, expressed his great joy at being able to host such an important event for those entrusted with the delicate task of accompanying young Salesians in the different levels of formation. In his homily, moreover, Fr. Santiagu recalled that a Salesian formator of the 21st century must become "a man of God, a man of the heart, a Son of Don Bosco."
