"Through his life, he reveals to us a holiness full of humility and simplicity, marked by the fire of charity. Zatti's life urges us to be faithful in the little; it is what God asks of us," the authors said.
The two Salesian coadjutors started with the intention of "creating something that would help share a little of Artemide Zatti's life, starting with this important event that was the canonization." Thus, a text and a musical piece were born.
"Stefan wrote a text, in my opinion, very profound and concrete about a truly human, believing and certainly Salesian Zatti," explains Isaac Aguilera, "Then for me composing is a kind of ritual: I read the texts, I try to understand the reason for their content, I pray them and I certainly try to convince myself of what they want to express. It's not just a matter of just composing; it's necessary that music and lyrics become one to convey something to others," he added.
"I had never delved as deeply into his life as I do now," Isaac continued, "That is why I appreciate what Stefan has accomplished with the lyrics of this song. His life is concrete, he is with the people, with the poorest, with those who need to heal the body, and I have no doubt that Br. Zatti has managed to heal the suffering and aching hearts as well."
Also adding to the song is a worksheet, designed for times of retreat or prayer in Salesian houses, conceived by Fernando Saade and Lucas Mautino. The sheet is available at the following link and collects a series of materials to delve into the life of the new Salesian saint.
"It is a privilege to be able to celebrate the Canonization of a Salesian Coadjutor," Isaac continues, "Today we are here to ask St. Artemide Zatti to intercede for the Salesian Family, for the Provinces in Argentina and around the world, for every Salesian work, for every oratory and for all those who are committed to never let the children lack anything."
The song "Zatti, la aventura de sanar" can be heard on the ARN Province’s YouTube channel.
