RMG – Salesian Missionary Volunteering: Cross design competition goes on!

27 October 2022

(ANS – Rome) – Recently the exciting news was announced that the Salesian Missionary Volunteering Advisory Board is running a competition for the design of a new volunteer cross that can be used throughout the Congregation. Below, some updates:

There will be a jury that will assess all the entries. The jury will use three criteria to judge and select the best projects:

- Artistic design: the aesthetics of the cross, the external beauty with the power to attract the new volunteers;
- Meaningfulness: the deep meaning of the cross, that will be accompanied by a brief text of explanation;
- Originality: use your creativity to produce something unique and new.

The jury will be composed by 7 members: 1 from Missions Sector, 1 from Youth Ministry Sector, 1 lay member of the Advisory Board, 1 expert of social communications, 1 artist, 1 past volunteer, 1 volunteers coordinator. This will thus give representation to all the dimensions to be considered in the final selection of the winning proposal.

“The deadline is November 30, 2022. What are you waiting for?” says the Salesian Missionary Volunteering Advisory Board.
