India - Centenary celebrations gets the colour of St. Artimede Zatti
Guwahati, India – October 2022 - Rector Major celebrated the Mass of St. Artimede Zatti at the St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral, Pan Bazar Guwahati along with 6 bishops, Provincials, Vice Provincials and more than 50 priests concelebrating. Many Salesian brothers, clerics, sisters, members of the Salesian family, young people and the lay faithful participated in the full packed church. “Will you be ready to go and take care of people in need at the cost of risking your lives like Zatti did?” asked Rector Major to the youth. He presented the life of Zatti as a model of humility especially in the present context of the world. Father Angel concluded with the call to a ‘life of Faith, devotion to the Madonna and service to others’. The young people from Don Bosco Institute added greater life to the liturgy expressing the cultural richness and diversity through their melodious singing of the Mass hymns in different languages of the various tribes of North-east India.
