New Rochelle, New York - July 15, 2022 - The Province of St. Philip the Apostle (New Rochelle, N.Y.), which includes the Eastern United States and all of Canada, held its Provincial Chapter from Sunday night, July 10, to Friday afternoon, July 15. The Chapter met at Don Bosco Retreat Center in Haverstraw, N.Y. Forty Salesians took part, and for some sessions also some Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and lay collaborators and young adults from some of our works. The Chapter reviewed the implementation of General Chapter 28 and the province's progress and challenges regarding the 8 Guidelines of the Rector Major for the Congregation in the period 2020-2026, in view of the province's renewal of the Salesian charism during the next 5 years.
