Quito, Ecuador - May 2022 - Last May 26, Fr. Hugo Orozco, Councilor for the Inter-American Region, concluded the Extraordinary Visitation to the Salesian Province of Ecuador (ECU). In the last meeting, also broadcast via Zoom for Salesians who could not attend, Fr. Orozco presented the final report to the Rectors and confreres from the different communities in the country. Afterward, a space for dialogue was opened, at the end of which Fr. Orozco presided over the Eucharist, in the presence of Fr. Francisco Sánchez, ECU Provincial, and Msgr. Alfredo Espinoza, archbishop of Quito. The celebration was also attended by lay people and a large group of young people from the different Salesian communities and works.
